The 3 days Safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth NP named after the present queen of England following her visit in 1964. This national park offers you a little bit of everything. Queen Elizabeth National Park lies against the back of the great Rwenzori Mountains with stunning and panoramic views that are made up of various crater lakes. These lakes are carved dramatically into the green rolling hills.
This park features a diversity of habitats like savannah grasslands, lowland forests, green meadows and wetlands, so this means a wide variety of wildlife potentially including several big cat species including the famous tree- climbing lions are a specialty of the Ishasha sector of the park, where they can often be found in huge fig trees, chimpanzees, giraffes, antelope species, zebras, crocodiles, elephants, baboons, monitor lizards. There are many interesting antelope species such as Uganda Kob, Topi and bushbuck. Hippo and crocodile are common in Kazinga channel. A troop of chimpanzee has been habituated for tracking with other primate species including the black-and-white colobus monkey in the steamy, tropical forest of kyambura gorge. Buffalo are particularly attractive as they are often reddish brown due to interbreeding with forest buffalo from neighboring Congo.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be picked from your accommodation and embark on our journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the South Western part of Uganda. The journey time is between 7 to 8 hours and therefore this day will mainly involve travelling.
We shall stop by the Equator at Kayabwe-Mpigi District to take pictures for your memories. At the same point, you will find a variety of crafts that represent much about Ugandan Culture, animals of Africa and the history of Uganda and Africa. You will enjoy much about how these crafts are made by the residents of this area.
Continue driving southwards and when you approach Mbarara, have lunch en-route while further observing and enjoying the natural and beautiful terrain, estates, plantations and escarpments of the western rift valley.
Your arrival to the booked lodge will likely be in the evening whereat you will rest and have your overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, it’s time to go for a game drive to spot the habitats of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to see various primate species as well as over 600 species of birds, Elephants, Buffalos, lions, Leopards, Warthogs, Hyenas, water bucks, Uganda Kob and many bird species including Ibis, Fish Eagles and vultures among others that live in this park.
After lunch, take on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, Kob and the occasional Nile crocodile and a spectacular bird watching on the water bank.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala
After the breakfast, check out and proceed to Kampala; having lunch en-route in Mbarara District and another stop at Mpambire Village a local place where drums are locally made. Proceed to Kampala reaching in the afternoon.
